Keeping Kleenex in Buisness….
I don’t want to alarm all of you, but I think I may have Malaria, or possibly some rare form of an Egyptian disease that no one has ever heard of. Even my hair looks sick, perhaps that’s just the highlights that I am still not sure about.

Anyway, I am going to try and disinfect my house today. I have about enough energy to do one room and then rest for about an hour. Everything needs to be wiped down so the kids don’t get it, all the bedding stripped, ect…Do they make a disinfecting version of a bug bomb?

I managed to stay on my diet yesterday, so that’s a plus, and the dryer is fixed…finally. I can barely talk so it looks like I’m going to miss my chorus rehersal this Thursday. I thought about going to just listen, but I don’t want to infect the entire alto section. Being that Ethan has taken to calling me Typhoid Erika, it’s probably best that I stay home.

The good part about being sick, is that I have been able to just lay around and watch bad movies for the past few days. I was so excited yesterday when I was scrolling through the guide and saw that one of all time favorite bad movies was on….XANADU !
rn
Be honest…you guys loved that one too.
You poor thing! I feel so bad for you. I honestly can say I don’t know how you feel b/c I usually never get sick. Stay in bed and drink lots of liquids.
Take care of yourself, and Get Well Soon!
I hope you get feeling better soon~ take care of yourself ~
Take care of yourself and enjoy all the bad movies you want! I have never even heard of the movie you mentioned!
Hope you’re feeling better soon.
I can always tell I”m sick by my desire to watch TV.
Sometimes its better than a thermometer.
Sounds like you know what to do, rest and liquids. And stay away from rain forests (malaria).
ps, I changed my background to give you a laugh

Actually, I’ve never seen Xanadu. Does that make me weird?!?!
You’re an absolute nut case!
Well, I’m glad you’re feeling well enough that you’re up to disinfecting the house! Just take it easy. You don’t want a set-back!! A germy house is much better than a sick Mommy!!!! Cuz as you know, if Mom ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy, and if Mommy’s sick, keep a low profile and look out!!
Ummm. I think I have some of your Malaria…Can you please quit contaminating the boards?????
Dawn
And really…Xanadu? DId anyone REALLY see that movie???
OMG I LOVE Xanadu! One of my all time favorite bad movies hehe. I bought it off of amazon a few years ago even. My kids like it now too. I’ve not watched in forever though…now the end song is running through my head, I’m sure I’ll have to watch it soon.

Hope you’re feeling all the way better soon.
Okay, I may be weird but I’ve never watched that movie. And as for your malaria/typhoid……sounds nasty!!! Take care and STOP WORKING!!!!
Ha! Looks like not that many of us are share your taste for bad movies, Erika - I’ve never heard of it, and I am a addicted to movies! Woohoo! appliances are working…now, forget that they are working and do as Nikki says - REST. I can’t believe you manage to still be funny when you are so sick, I would be such an irritably baby…

I hope you get to feeling better soon. I remember Xanadu with Olivia Newton John. It was a really bad movie but I liked it at the time. I’d watch it again.
