I am the coolest Mom in the universe!

Hello from the sick ward. Jarod was up all night coughing his little head off, his fever finally broke at 2am. The earliest the doctor can see him is at 1pm, so we’re waiting…tissue in hand.

Today the Thomas the Tank Engine tickets went on sale. I rock! I scored Orchestra pit seats, stage right, on the isle! The on the isle part is the most important you see, because when the characters come dancing through the theater, and they always do, Logan will be able to shake their hands. I probably should bring smelling salts for him.

Once when I took Jarod to see Toy Story 2 on Ice for his 5th birthday, we had rink side seats. Big Al sat in my lap and Jarod  actually got to touch Buzz and Woody, he nearly fainted. I mean he looked like one of those women from the footage of a Beatles concert, so now it’s Logan’s turn.

Hopefully, provided they don’t get me sicker, I will be up and running by Saturday. I have a date with Rod Stewart you know. So that’s all from here, I’m off to strip and disinfect all the beds. Thank God for Lysol and bleach!

Ohmygosh!  Logan is going to have so much fun!! You know….every year for my Christmas party (the annual one I host for my friends and their kids), Santa comes to visit…..the look on the little ones faces is priceless!!  It’s usually around 4 and 5 years old that the kids are starstruck, and it’s sooooooooooooo cute!

Erika, I am so excited about your date with Rod.  I’m sure you’ll have the best time.  Gotta hand it to dad this time!

You are the coolest mom I know! Your kids are so lucky!

I have seen some pretty sad situations as a bus monitor. I feel really bad for one little girl in particular on my bus. She can be pretty horrible and she is only 4, she even swears at me (she has to hear that somewhere)! Last week when it was so cold she came out to the bus 3 days out of the 5 with her coat unzipped and no hat or mittens! When they have a party at school and the parents come the other kids on the bus go home with their parents, all except her, her mom does not go! So she ends up being the only child on the bus we need to transport home that day!Her mom did not even go to the parent/teacher conference! I feel so bad for her she acts out so bad she wants any attention she can get even if it is negative attention! This morning she even FIRED me, yes she said I was fired! Oh my God, I asked her why she was firing me and she said because I did not care about her! Of course I told her I did! It was cute being fired by a 4 year old, and it made me laugh, but it also made we want to cry!

Hope you have a good day!
