Stupid romantic husband!!!

Yeah I said it, and I’m not sorry!

rn

I never asked him to make a sweet romantic gesture, and he did it anyway. Can you believe he had the nerve to bring me roses and truffles this weekend?  My favorite gormet, champagne, raspberry, and strawberry truffles… that bastard!

rn

Yes Buddies, I fell off the low carb wagon big time Friday evening. I fell with such a thud, that it reverberated all the way to Sunday.

rn

I have such a chocolate hangover, that you would think I was on a 72 hour bender consisting of nothing but vodka and cigarettes. Yes, I had a few of those too.

rn

I’m just glad that the roses weren’t edible or I would have eaten them too.

rn

It’s a good thing that I had my fill, and that the idea of eating any more candy right now repulses me, because my house looks like Willy Wonka’s livingroom.

rn

Jarod and Logan got 7, count them…7 Easter Baskets each!  Between the Easter Bunny, my parents, and some very kind neighbors, I doubt that there is a piece of chocolate or Peep available for purchase in the Tri-State Area.

rn

So it is back to low carb boot camp for me today, and yes…I plan on complaining about it for the next few days. This could get ugly Buddies, as the PMS monster is due to arrive any minute.

rn

Wish me luck, I’m either going to need a lot of support or perhaps a good lawyer. Does the Twinkie defense work for those suffering carb withdrawl? Anyone? Nikki?

Eating those roses wouldn’t be good.. Thorns would hurt!!  Good job getting back on track though!!  Shame on your husband for being romantic

Good to have a bit of a treat weekend, but I hope you feel better soon.  I have actually had great success on these weeks where I have let loose for sometime.  This is just my experience and I would love and appreciate anyone who could respond with their experiences.   Has anyone else let go a couple days (exercising during that time) and then got back on track and had greater success that week then other weeks where you were completely on track?   I think it has to do with metabolism but I do not know the science behind it.  The same principle works when you intentionally fluctuate your calories.  It never gives your metabolism a chance to adjust.  But these are just some intentional and unintentional  experiments….hehe   Has anyone had this happen ?

What a good guy you have too.  My boyfriend now just buys a Cadbury thin or a few expensive chocolates that I love.  We too have “enjoyed”  THE BOX.

    I wish you a fabulous week !

I thank God that I only got one “sweet treat” for Easter.  But let me tell you, it’s a HUGE one — a large chocolate covered peanut butter egg…you know, the kind the churches sell around this time of year.

I am considering giving it to my younger brother — might sound mean but I just don’t know how long I can go on looking at it without giving in.  It would be nice if I could limit myself to one bite a day but that’s just not me.  My bro is 11 years younger than me and couldn’t care less about his weight so I’m sure he’d be happy to get it.

I know how tempting the sweet treats are and we will all occasionally give in but don’t let it get you down - keep on keeping on!  It’s nothing but a tiny little set-back.

Ah, well, at least it was good quality chocolate and they’re supposed to be full of antioxidants. I wouldn’t mind one of those truffles right now, I’d be willing to skip lunch for them. Oh wait, I already had lunch!!! Oooooo…

Stay commited and don’t step on the scale right now. PMS time is when our weight is highest in a month. In a week’s time, it will be the lowest .

Wow! 7 Easter baskets your boys must be in candy heaven! Thats why we got the grandkids a new oufit each! We knew what they would probably get between the Easter bunny and the other NaNa!

Your husband is such a romantic.I am glad you had your fill and you are back on track! I think I finally got it into my husband brain NO CANDY!   He asked what I wanted I said NO CANDY, but I could hardly believe he listened.

    Have a super day!

    Have a great day

Well, I can sell the Twinkie defense.    I’m right there with you.  I likewise was a victim of the chocolate monster.  But I stick with my original thought, you can’t get mad at awesome Ethan for doing such a sweet thing.  Now those 14 Easter Baskets….those may be a problem.
