I have a shower!
Good morning Buddies, I am happy to report that I will finally be able to resume my tiling today. Good thing, because with all of the stress here lately I have been eating like a rabid wolf.

Ethan replaced the old fixtures and to my suprise enlisted the help of a friend and installed a shower as well. Because our house is so old, the main bathroom only had a tub, and now it has a shower too!

We have all been using the shower we put in the basement when we moved in, but this will be so much nicer. He even bought me one of those insanely large shower heads.

The bad news is that I now need a lot more tile for my new shower. I have two new walls to do, and instead of just going half way up the wall as planned, I now have to go to the ceiling. It’s probably going to be a good 2 weeks until I am done.

So I’m going to get back to work, and back to eating right. It doesn’t help that TOM is here, I know I put on at least 5lbs…and no it’s not water, it’s weight. Stupid stress eating!

The school picnic is on June 12th and I want to lose at least 20lbs my then, if I could just get on the ball I coukl pull it off. So it’s another day of starting over.

Hey, who wants a boring life? I bet you that the shower looks great even though it has taken its toll. Just think of how good it will feel, when it’s done, and TOM will be gone, and with him also some of those pounds. You’re almost there

Our house didn’t have a shower either when we moved here. We had two large bathrooms, so we had a shower installed. Showers are great! You sure are ambitious doing all that work on your bathroom. Take care.
I think you should change your name from Erika to Wonderwoman….I mean, you do showers and tiling too? You make me feel like the queen of mediocracy!! LOL!! Of course, this only says I think you’re the coolest chick ever!!

I don’t understand how some people can be so vindictive! Man, I am experiencing something similar, but not to that degree, at work. I am just not sure how to handle it. I pray for guidance for both you and I on this particular trial in our lives. I hope your friend feels better soon. I know what she’s going through ’cause I went through the same back in 2003. I spent 2 days short of a month in the hospital. The only reason I was released was because I threatened to jump out of the window! Best wishes!
