I finally gave in, and I took a pregnancy test and it was negative.

Ethan and now my Mother ( yes, I may have to kill him ) both disagree with the results and have decided that I took the test too early for an accurate result.

Ethan’s baby fever is obviously contagious, because he has now gotten Mom all ramped up about the idea as well. She too was checking my fingernails lastnight She was kind enough to remind me that I am not getting any younger, and should probably get on the stick if I want another baby…preferably a girl.

It’s not that I don’t want another baby, I do..but they just don’t seem to get that it isn’t going to happen this month. I really do want another child, I would just prefer to not be the one who gets pregnant this time……stupid laws of nature!

For those of you who remember, they canceled my deposition that was supposed to happen today. Some legal manuvering that I don’t quite understand, but I trust my attorney, and he felt it best to wait until the other side “answers” the complaint properly.

I’m kind of conflicted about that. On one hand I am relieved, as I really was dreading that moment, on the other hand…I just wanted to get it over with.

So that is where I am today, my diet has been awful the last few days. Stress? Disappointment? I don’t know, I have been walking a lot, so hopefully it will balance out. Today is a new day.

Erika, I guess the pregnancy will happen when it’s meant to be. Have fun just trying to make the baby and let the timing be that of your little munchkin. You could have taken it too early because there can be false negetives but not a false positive. I hope it turns out the way you would like it too. Yes, stress does reek havoc on our eating and Today Is a New Day!!!!! Keep up the positive thinking and the great work and you’ll get there. Laura
You know, they say dieting and exercising can throw your system off, so that may be the reason you’re late. But I’ve also heard of some women who tried unsuccessfully for years to get pregnant and after they started losing weight, wham!!!!
I hate to tell you this but my other half & my mum knew I was pregnant before I did. Even the doctors pregnancy test came back negative twice! turns out I was all along but my hormones were all over the place because of the stress of my court case…..sound familiar????
The inlaws can be such pests about getting pregnant. I really hate when she drags my daughter into it ” Wouldn’t you like a baby brother/sister”.. geez what if 1. I don’t want anymore kids or 2. I’m not capable even….. sometimes I wish they would just shut up !!
Husbands and mothers they always know more than we do ……LMAO……..maybe you did take the test to soon!
Stress eating, yep, I sure know what that is like. I have to much crap going on right now too and I am not sticking to plan like I should.

Well they say other people know you are pregnant BEFORE the mother does. My sister and my hairdresser both knew before me……………both times!!!
Either way I hope you are happy with the results in the end!

i know what you mean except with brian and i , i was well still am kinda the one with baby fever and he thinks we should wait we have made the decision to wait because i have had 2 beautiful children and after mt daughter i havent been able to carry past 7 weeks so my doc told me some of the reasons could be my weight so i am gonna get this weight off and then we go back and talk about trying again but i agree with everyine else you would be the first one to know if ur pregnant its a woman thing i knew all 6 times i have been pregnant and no one belived me til i brought home the paper work from the docs office good luck and dont kill him cause if you do want more you might want him around to help (hahahaha)

Ok…I took the test too and mine also came back negative. I have been PMSing though for almost 3 weeks….you know the symptoms, similar to those of a pregnancy. The thing with me though, is that I have a condition known as infantile uterus, which basically makes it difficult for me to get pregnant…not impossible obviously!
Anyhow, unlike you, I DON’T want another child. Heck, I didn’t even want the one I have, I tried to give him back, but no one will take him! LOL!! KIDDING!! Ok, I can see all the moms in the house gasping!!
Anyhow…I am confused….why the deposition, why the attorneys? I must be missing several blogs because I am so confused!!
Try not to worry about the diet mishaps right now Erika. It’s very stressful to think your depo is coming up, then it’s not, then other things are going on in the lawsuit that stresses you out just the same. You trust your lawyers and that’s all you can count on for now. Hang in there with the pregnancy issues. At least those are funny……
